EMCC Swapaholics Charity Triumph

The first warm and sunny Sunday of the year provided the ideal
backdrop for the EMCC spring kit swap. Club members had donated
generously to ensure that those who came looking for kit weren't
disappointed. With ace salesman Jamie Southgate on hand to provide
expert advice, the kit flooded out the door. Within two hours the
sale had raised nearly £2000 for our worthy causes. These are local

affordable for all.
Don't worry if you missed out. We will continue to collect kit at Miss
Polly's until the season opener (19th Apr) when we will re-open the
swap shop. On that night we will also be re-gripping bats for a £5
donation to charity.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the event, which was a great
advert for the generosity of the EMCC members.
