U10 Tier 1/2 T10 Hardball Cricket Tournament
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Mark Barrow Cup - competitive and enjoyable hardball cricket tournament hosted by Cobham Avorians. This is a fantastic opportunity for high-level junior players to showcase their skills in a
dynamic and exciting format.
Tournament Format
• 6 Teams, split into 2 groups of 3
• Each team plays 2 T10 group matches
• Top 2 from each group go through to semi-finals
• Followed by a 3rd/4th playoff and Final
• Each team guaranteed a minimum of 2 games (finalists may play up to 4)
Playing Conditions
• Squads: 10 players (8 on field, with up to 2 subs — 1 for batting, 1 for bowling per
match)
• Innings: 10 overs per side (20 overs per match)
• Bowlers: Minimum 5 bowlers and maximum 2 overs per bowler.
• Batting: Batters retire on 15 runs and may return if all others are out
• “You’re Out, You’re Out” rule in effect
• Wides & No Balls: Not re-bowled; 2 runs awarded automatically
• Games will be played across 2 pitches.

Tournament Schedule
• First matches begin at 10:00 AM
• Group games run until approx. 12:40 PM
• Semi-finals, playoff, and Final to follow
• Ceremony to conclude by 4:00 PM
On the Day
• Fully licensed bar open all day
• Delicious BBQ running throughout
• Plenty of space for families and spectators to enjoy the cricket
